Changes to the Government Gateway - how this affects you
The Government Gateway is a secure online account where both individuals and businesses can register for and access government online services. If you use Sage software you may have this integrated with the Government Gateway to perform online submissions such as VAT returns.
It is important to note that with effect from 14 February 2018 the current Government Gateway is due to be decommissioned and replaced by a new system developed by HM Revenue & Customs.
This may well impact on how your present Sage software package integrates with the new system, therefore is it important you speak to us to ensure you have the correct software type to make sure you are still able to perform the same submissions.
