Sage payroll and Automatic Enrolment - Christmas and New Year processing
As the Christmas and New Year period approaches, you may be advancing pay for your employees. If you complete payroll using Sage software, please be aware that there is a technical issue within the programme when you enter payment and pension contributions details under Automatic Enrolment regulations.
When you enter payments it may come up with an error message saying that you are not meeting the regulations for Automatic Enrolment as the contributions are below the minimum requirement for that employee.
If you do get this error message, double check your contributions are correct and then ignore the message and process as normal.
