Inheritance Tax Seminar
Inheritance Tax Planning & Will Making
Is making a will something you always intended to do but never actually got around to? Or maybe you have a will but it’s well and truly out of date? And then there’s the mystery surrounding Inheritance Tax. How exactly is it calculated and is there anything you can do to minimise it?
The thought of planning for the future is a daunting prospect and something we very often put to the back of our minds. But a lack of planning on our part now could cause problems for our nearest and dearest later. It is essential to think about these things while we can and, crucially, while we have the ability to make our own choices.
With this in mind, robinson+co have organised a special presentation focusing on ‘Will Writing and Inheritance Tax Planning’ on May 14 2009 at Hunday Manor in Workington. Coffee and biscuits will be served at 10.30am and the presentation will start at 11am followed by a light buffet lunch at 12.30pm.
The presentation will be in 3 parts:
· Victoria Bishop, robinson+co’s Taxation Specialist Partner will explain the use of inheritance tax reliefs
· Gareth Mendus, of Oglethorpe & Broatch solicitors, will explain why you should have an up-to-date Will
· David Hopkinson, robinson+co’s Financial Services Partner will explain how you can reduce your Inheritance Tax
liability by investing in particular ways.
Spaces are limited so we would recommend that you reserve a place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
If you would like to attend please contact Helen Irving, Practice Manager.
